If you've got "delayed" next to yours, the story should be up by June 7th. Similarly with the dropouts, because the pinch-hitters need time to do their thing. Otherwise, please comment on this post with the title of your story and a link to it.

[Also - I just thought. It'd be nice if you would also mention what, if any, spoilers your fic might have in it.]

Wth grateful thanks to [info]hathy_col, for general fannishness and letting me camp out in [info]new_who for a month, and to [info]taraljc, [info]marag and [info]cscottd for pinch-hitting above and beyond the call of duty.

Thank you, and good night. :)

Relative Dimensions in Cyber Space

No real spoilers to speak of. Possibly some very minor spoilers for "End of the World", "The Unquiet Dead" and "Father's Day", but shouldn't be any more than you would get from watching the previews (if that much).

Uhm, I can totally misunderstand you here, but I did finish mine! Or do I have to understand that in that way that the person I wrote for dropped out?

Anyhow, the link is here. It goes to my fiction journal.

I know you finished it, don't worry. The person you were writing for has dropped out, that's all.

I'll add your link in now...

I'm very sorry, but would I be allowed to turn in my ficathon entry by June 7th as well? A virus infected the family computer the other day and I've lost most of my writing, including the ficathon entry, as well as most internet capabilities. I absolutely hate asking for an extension - God knows I'm enough of a flake as it is - but it's better than dropping out.

I apologize with the greatest sincerity and want to thank you, again, for organizing this ficathon in the first place.

Eeek. You have my deepest sympathy. I've just stuck "delayed" next to you on the list, so don't worry, and I look forward to seeing your story.

Wild Geese

You do not have to be good.
You do not have to walk on your knees
for a hundred miles through the desert repenting.
You only have to let the soft animal of your body
love what it loves.
Tell me about despair, yours, and I will tell you mine.
Meanwhile the world goes on.
Meanwhile the sun and the clear pebbles of the rain
are moving across the landscapes,
over the prairies and the deep trees,
the mountains and the rivers.
Meanwhile the wild geese, high in the clean blue air,
are heading home again.
Whoever you are, no matter how lonely,
the world offers itself to your imagination,
calls to you like the wild geese, harsh and exciting —
over and over announcing your place
in the family of things.
